Position: Floor Covering Installer (NOC 73113)
Wage Rate: $29.00 per hour for 40 hours per week.
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time, Weekend, Day, Evening shift, if required
Language: Basic English
Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible
Education: Completion of high school
Experience: 1 or more years of experience as a Helper is required
Licences: Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle required, WHMIS, Fall Protection, First Aid, Aerial Platform certificates required

Work Locations: Various Locations in Lower Mainland, BC
Job Duties:
- Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
- Use power tools, sander, saw, etc.
- Sand and rill deck, install flashings
- Measure, cut and install resilient floor covering using adhesive, rollers and other hand tools
- Install hardwood floors, such as strip floors, block floors or plank floors, using glue, staples, nails or other means
- Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
Working Conditions:
- Heavy workloads, stand, bend, crouch and kneel.
- Job is physically demanding, ability to lift 50lbs is required.
- Work outdoors in cold, hot, rainy weather.
- Safety apparel required.
