Sanghera family is looking for a responsible, experienced, and caring individual to look after their child, aged 5 years at their residence in Abbotsford, BC, V2S 3Z6

Hours: Permanent/Full Time; 40 hr/Week
Language Requirement: English
Qualification: Secondary (High) School graduation certificate.
Experience: Not Required
Wage: C$20.00/hr.
Location: Abbotsford, BC, V2S 3Z6

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure the safety and well-being of the child at all times.
• Monitor child activities and provide supervision during play, homework, and their activities.
• Encourage educational activities and provide learning opportunities.
• Plan and supervise age-appropriate activities and outings.
• Encourage physical activities, playtime and creative pursuits.
• Help child develop good personal hygiene habits
• Foster a positive and nurturing environment.
• Offer emotional support and comfort to the children
• Administer medications if needed, following parents’ instructions.
• Provide regular updates to parents about the child’s’ activities, behaviours, and any concerns.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks relating to childcare, such as cleaning up after meals, tidying play area, and doing children’s laundry.
• Assist with routines such as getting dressed, brushing teeth, and having meals.
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks, ensuring they are nutritious and appropriate for the children’s age
• Maintain safe and healthy environment in the home.
• May need to pick or drop kids from school.
• May have to accompany to buy stationary.
