Responsibilities/Tasks

• Greeting customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
• Assisting customers in locating and selecting merchandise.
• Providing product information, including features and prices.
• Handling cash transactions and using a cash register to process payments accurately.
• Processing sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
• Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and arranging merchandise displays.
• Checking and ensuring price tags are accurate and visible.
• Monitoring inventory levels and reporting low stock items to supervisors.
• Suggesting upsells and promotions to customers to boost sales.
• Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Operating and demonstrating the use of simple store equipment, like price scanners or shopping carts.
• Keeping track of sales and reporting daily, weekly, and monthly sales data to management.
• Participating in store promotions and seasonal sales events.
• Adhering to store policies and procedures.
• Maintaining knowledge of current promotions, discounts, and special offers.
• Assisting in receiving and unpacking merchandise shipments.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
• Assisting with store opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation.
