Experience

• 2+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or promotions, preferably in the cosmetics and/or skin care products industry.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful promotional campaigns.
• Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management.

Work setting

• Reports to the main office.
• Requires travel to various locations for coordination of marketing campaigns.

Tasks

• Gather, research and prepare communications material,
• Prepare and/or deliver educational, publicity and information programs, materials and sessions,
• Prepare or oversee preparation of reports, briefs, bibliographies, speeches, presentations, Website content and press releases,
• Act as spokesperson for an organization,
• Answer written and oral inquiries,
• Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies,
• Develop, implement and evaluate communication strategies and programs,
• Initiate and maintain contact with the media,
• Develop and organize workshops, meetings, ceremonies and other events for publicity, fundraising and information purposes,
• Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material,
• Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions
• Manage post campaign analysis to measure and report on marketing and advertising metrics

 

Additional Requirements:

• Familiarity with the local market and consumer behavior in Ontario.
• Experience in event planning and management can be an added advantage.
