MJ TR Inc. is looking for (4) permanent F/T Long Haul Truck Drivers for its busy transportation company to work in itsoperations in Edmonton and its surroundings areas in Alberta.
MJ TR Inc. prefers candidates with (2) years of experience as skilled Long Haul truck drivers, less experience will beconsidered upon demonstration of the appropriate level of skills. The company is committed to hire candidates that can work in afast-paced, physically demanding, and energetic environment. Flexible and willing to work shift s. Candidates must possess a cleancriminal record. No education required. Language of work: English.
Salary compensation 35.40/hr. for 40 hours per week.
Duties include:
• Load and unload goods
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
