Job Description:

  • Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance of PCB (printed circuit boards)
  • Reads drawings to determine work procedures
  • Operates hydraulic jacks and forklift devices to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery
  • Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
  • Adjusts and dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts.
  • Install, troubleshoot and maintains pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls
  • Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments.
  • Operates machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery
  • Cleans, lubricates and performs other routine maintenance work on machinery
  • Solder, clean and assemble various PCB
  • Operate automatic and semi-automatic machines and monitor process equipment to fabricate electronic components
  • Trains production workers on routine preventive maintenance.
  • Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

 

Job Skills & Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in mechanical engineering
  • 2 to 3 years of experience working in maintenance & testing
  • Ability to operate machinery and technical equipment
  • In-depth knowledge of system maintenance
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment / Forklift licence required
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations
  • Skilled in analyzing information and creating reports
