We are currently searching for four experienced Roofers.
Work Location:
Various sites in the GTA
Duties:
- Install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel
- Install roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings
- Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
- Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings
- Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems
- Repair roofing systems
- Supervise other workers
- Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level
- Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
- Install sheet metal flashings
- Estimate costs and materials
- Operate CADD and other computer software systems
- Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms
Applicants must be able to demonstrate extensive experience in roofing.
You will be required to train apprentices.

- Tools, Safety equipment/gear, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles, Safety harnes
Weight handling:
- More than 45 kg (100 lbs)
Credentials:
- Working at heights training
- Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) clearance Certificate
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
- Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of work experience with roofing

English
Terms of Employment:
Permanent Position/40 hours per week
Hours of Work:
From Monday to Friday
The shift is from 7 am to 3 pm
Salary:
From CAD$ 34.07 to CAD$ 37.00 per hour
Transportation/travel information:
- Willing to travel
- Valid driver's license
