Company Introduction
Landmark Club Group Inc., specialized in exemplary services including professional property management, real estate expertise, and efficient tenant support, is seeking a world-class Finance Vice President with comprehensive responsibilities for the financial operation, reporting directly to the Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the financial strategy to support the company's goals, ensuring alignment with short-term and long-term objectives.
- Lead the preparation of comprehensive financial forecasts and budgets to guide real estate acquisitions, management operations, and property investments.
- Establish financial policies and internal controls to safeguard assets, optimize resources, and comply with Canadian accounting standards, tax laws, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all financial activities comply with corporate governance and ethics standards, particularly concerning property management and real estate transactions.
- Direct the preparation and analysis of financial statements, management reports, and performance indicators, providing insight into company operations.
- Identify financial risks associated with property management and real estate holdings, implementing measures to mitigate potential impacts.
- Oversee investment strategies and capital allocation, evaluating property acquisition opportunities, lease agreements, and property development projects for profitability.
- Distribute and allocate resources to execute company policies and initiatives, enhance property value, reduce costs, and increase cash flow.
- Establish performance targets for financial departments, mentoring finance personnel to achieve high standards and productivity.
- Present financial insights to executive teams and the board, facilitating informed decision-making on real estate investments and portfolio performance.
- Coordinate with external auditors, bankers, and financial institutions to secure funding for property acquisitions or expansions.
- Lead the finance team, guiding personnel to ensure efficient operation. Assign the necessary authority and create ideal working conditions for the team.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum five years of experience in real estate development or related sector, with at least three years of commensurate leadership experience.
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, commerce, or other related major.
- Applicable analytical, organizational, and capital project management skills.
- Ability to understand complex business structures and transactions.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems and handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision, with flexible hours including nights and weekends.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels within the organization.
- Maintain a positive attitude, professional manner, and appearance in all situations.
- Ability to effectively monitor and develop staff, and lead change initiatives.
