Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate existing IT systems and processes to identify inefficiencies, providing recommendations for improvements and enhancements that align with organizational goals.
- Provide technical assistance to users, troubleshooting software and hardware issues to ensure minimal disruption and optimal performance of IT systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements, ensuring clear understanding of needs for effective IT solutions and systems
- Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget, while meeting quality standards.
- Analyze data trends and patterns to provide insights that support decision-making processes and improve business operations and efficiency.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and user manuals to facilitate understanding and training for end-users.
- Develop and execute testing plans for new software or system changes, ensuring functionality and performance meet organizational requirements before deployment.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to evaluate software and hardware solutions, ensuring they meet organizational needs and compliance requirements.
- Develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to effectively mitigate the impact of security breaches and protect sensitive information.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending innovative solutions to enhance business processes and IT infrastructure.
- Facilitate the integration of new technologies with existing systems, ensuring seamless functionality and minimal disruption to business operations.
Eligibility Requirements:
- College/CEGEP is the minimum educational requirement.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience is required for this position.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex IT issues and develop effective solutions for users.
- Proficiency in various programming languages, databases, and software applications relevant to the organization's technology stack is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization.
- Strong attention to detail in analyzing systems and processes, ensuring accuracy in documentation and implementation of solution.
- Ability to adapt to changing technologies and business needs, remaining flexible in dynamic work environments and project requirements.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying current with industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance expertise.
- Strong teamwork skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve project goals.
