Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate existing IT systems and processes to identify inefficiencies, providing recommendations for improvements and enhancements that align with organizational goals.
  • Provide technical assistance to users, troubleshooting software and hardware issues to ensure minimal disruption and optimal performance of IT systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements, ensuring clear understanding of needs for effective IT solutions and systems
  • Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget, while meeting quality standards.
  • Analyze data trends and patterns to provide insights that support decision-making processes and improve business operations and efficiency.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and user manuals to facilitate understanding and training for end-users.
  • Develop and execute testing plans for new software or system changes, ensuring functionality and performance meet organizational requirements before deployment.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors to evaluate software and hardware solutions, ensuring they meet organizational needs and compliance requirements.
  • Develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to effectively mitigate the impact of security breaches and protect sensitive information.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending innovative solutions to enhance business processes and IT infrastructure.
  • Facilitate the integration of new technologies with existing systems, ensuring seamless functionality and minimal disruption to business operations.

 Eligibility Requirements:

  • College/CEGEP is the minimum educational requirement.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience is required for this position.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex IT issues and develop effective solutions for users.
  • Proficiency in various programming languages, databases, and software applications relevant to the organization's technology stack is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail in analyzing systems and processes, ensuring accuracy in documentation and implementation of solution.
  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies and business needs, remaining flexible in dynamic work environments and project requirements.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying current with industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance expertise.
  • Strong teamwork skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve project goals.
