Job Title: Senior Manager – Auto Repair Shop

Location: Vancouver, BC

 

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager to lead the operations of our auto repair shop. In this senior leadership role, you will set the company's direction, oversee key departments, and ensure we meet our financial and operational objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong management background in the automotive industry, with a focus on driving growth and operational excellence

Hourly Rate: $47.00

Hours: 40 hours per week

Employment Type: Permanent, full-time

Start Date: As soon as possible

Education: Bachelor's degree

Experience: 5+ years in management within the automotive sector

Work Setting: Automobile repair services

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Direction

Develop and implement long-term strategies that align with the company’s goals for growth, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with the board of directors to formulate policies and set the company’s strategic Direction

Resource Management

Oversee the allocation of financial, human, and material resources to ensure optimal performance. Implement and monitor financial controls, budgets, and resource utilization to maximize profitability

Organizational Development

Establish and manage key departments, including recruiting and developing middle managers and senior staff. Ensure that all departments operate effectively and align with the company’s strategic goals

Operational Coordination

Coordinate the work of various departments to ensure seamless operations across the business. Oversee day-to-day activities, ensuring our services meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency

Company Representation

Represent the company in negotiations, partnerships, and official functions. Act as a spokesperson in key business dealings to ensure the company’s interests are well-represented

Leadership and Decision-Making

Provide leadership and guidance to senior staff and middle managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Make high-level decisions that impact the overall direction and success of the business

 

Qualifications

Extensive management experience in the automotive or related industry, preferably in auto repair operations

Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and develop teams

Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities

Solid financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and financial management

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Technical Proficiency

Proficient in: MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word, QuickBooks

Additional Information
