We will provide the following:

- Minimum of 30 - 40 hours/ week throughout your employment period

- Paid Vacation of 2 Weeks each year or 4% of salary                        

- Salary Range: $22 - $30 per hour

Duties

• Plan quantities required ingredients, prepare meals by reviewing recipes, assembling, combining, and cooking ingredients.
• Contributes to daily, holiday, and theme menus in collaboration with the supervisor
• Coordinates daily food supply inventory for the Restaurant. Submits order to supervisor
• Ensures cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas
• Assists in recruiting and hiring kitchen workers
• Assists with orienting new employees to their work area
• Coordinate and supervise the work of kitchen staff
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and, health & safety at all times
• Assisting other cooks in preparing food or helping other team members when needed
• Estimate amounts and costs of required supplies, such as food and ingredients

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of work experience as a Cook is required
• No Education required
• Ability to legally work in Canada
