Cook (NOC 63200)

 

 

Salary:  $17.00 per hour / 40 hours per week (full-time position)

Location of Work:  40 King Street West, #143, Toronto, ON M5H 3T2

Job Description:

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods according to recipes
• Oversea kitchen operations
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions
• Estimate food requirements and costs
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Inspect kitchen and food service areas
• Guide and train kitchen staff in the preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Ensure kitchen and work areas are clean and meet health safety requirement

 JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Specific experience on Vegetarian cuisine with south Asian menu
• Experience in eggless baking recipes
